Holiday in Holland

During the half term holiday, we sailed away to Holland. To the sea side and to see our family. I was a bit nervous about the ship but it went quite smooth. To my surprise there was a lot to do in the ferry. Massive play area for children to! Little Emily was happy and I got almost the whole day to enjoy my cup of tea and knit away, while sailing to De Huge. Yes, that's where our destination was. Two days at the beach. How lovely was that? Then we headed towards my in laws beautiful countryside thatched roof cottage. The weather was pretty much the same as here, sun and rain. But we did manage to go for a little walk in the woods just behind my in laws house, the girls played badminton with their cousins. Hubby and me also joined in for a short while. Everything was beautiful, we really had a good half term break then came back to England and heard my sister had a stroke.
I felt so horrible and guilty and didn't feel like blogging my holiday photo's. She is ok but still some more tests to be done. The biggest draw back of living far away from your family is you can't just fly to them when you want to. It's sad, but we survive. Through good and bad. Hope things back in India settles soon. I almost felt like stopping blogging. This is a happy place for me and don't want to come across sad or make you sad, that's why I took a bit long to post this.
